"Billy Elliot" scored more nominations than any other show, with 15. In the crowded category of best revival of a play, "Joe Turner's Come and Gone," "Mary Stuart" and "Waiting for Godot" all got nomination nods, squeezing out Robert Falls' Goodman Theatre production of "Desire Under the Elms."
