Remember Wendy told us in her column on summer travel bargains that we'd find big sales at large resorts in Arizona whose corporate-meeting business has eroded?
Well, here's a deal that should interest golfers in particular: The Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa, which borders on two 18-hole PGA championship courses, is offering standard king bed rooms for $121/night (including tax and resort fees). These same rooms cost $220 (including tax and resort fees) last summer. That means savings of 45%.
